Seniors Are Often Separated From Their Dogs When They Need Each Other the Most.

Our Mission is to Help Owners and Their Dogs Stay in Each Others’ Lives - even if only for visits or through video.

Many older adults risk their health by delaying a move to a senior community because they can’t bear to lose their dog at a time of life when a canine companion is often the most important thing in an older owner’s life.

Please consider providing a foster home for a dog until we can find the right permanent home for them. Sadly if these dogs, often older themselves, are taken to an animal shelter they face almost certain euthanasia - and fear and stress until that happens. And heartbreak for their owner who is having to adjust to a whole new way of life already.

Ideally, we would like our faster parents to be willing to take the dog to visit their original owner - or take photos or videos and stay in touch. And if you can’t provide a home, perhaps you can volunteer to drive a dog over to the senior community for a visit a couple of times a month.

YOUR DONATION - OR YOUR TIME - WILL HELP US IN OUR MISSION

We are working to obtain our 501(c)(3) non profit status but do not yet have that designation. We understand we can operate as a non profit and receive donations - but our sponsors are not as yet able to claim a tax write off until that is finalized. We will keep you informed on the progress.
