The information collected during our assessment period is used by your personal housing advocate to prepare a short list of communities or care homes that best fit your needs.

Step 1

No obligation Family Meeting - preferably in person -  to discuss the medical and lifestyle needs of your loved one.  We will complete our Assessment together so that we fully understand what you’re looking for.  All of the information you provide will be kept confidential.

Step 2

Acting as your Advocate, we will review the Assessment and research the communities or care homes that best meet your level of care and lifestyle needs, plus have availability - and review the short list with you which will  include photos and videos to help save you time, and lots of walking.

Step 3

We will schedule tours of the  communities you select plus accompany you on the tour to help negotiate the best situation with the sales staff at the communities.

All that is left for you to do is choose the one you want to move into and get settled in your new life.

Other Ways We Can Help With the Move

  • Organization | Sort | Donate

    We can take care of the house full of “the stuff” by organizing it, donating items that will no longer be needed. We can arrange the contents ready for sale.

  • Estate Sales or Ship to Other Family Members

    We have several Estate Sale companies in our address book that we can arrange an estate sale through based on the volume and approximate valuation of the items.

    If there are items that need to be packed up and shipped to family members around the country we can handle that too.

  • Clean and Empty House

    Any home after someone has moved out needs a good clean to either sell or rent to someone. Even though we don’t typically do this work ourselves, we have companies we have worked with before who we can recommend for the job.

    We will make the arrangements and manage the work ourselves so you don’t have to.

  • Preparing Your Home for Sale

    Whatever needs to be done to get your house ready for sale, we can take care of.

    Obviously, we will prepare estimates of the work as well as what we believe would be the sales price with or without the work being done.

  • Cosmetic Repairs or a Whole Home Renovation

    Everything froma few cosmetic updates to a full home renovation, we can get it done for you without you needing to set foot at the property - works well if you live our of the area.

  • Sell Your House

    Our experienced realtor team can sell your home for the best possible price and in your timeframe - or arrange for a fast cash sale if that is what is needed to pay medical bills or for senior living.
